Sektorem, który jest szczególnie podatny na różnego rodzaju ryzyka, rolnictwo. Chodzi tu przede wszystkim o ryzyka charakterze produkcyjnym, instytucjonalnym, jak również społecznym. Ryzykami, które istotnie mogą zachwiać stabilnością funkcjonowania gospodarstw rolnych, a co za tym idzie całego sektora, są społeczne, potwierdzają liczne badania. Stąd istotne wydaje się uzyskanie odpowiedzi pytanie, czy obecny system zabezpieczenia społecznego funkcjonujący w rolnictwie, realizowany ramach Kasy Rolniczego Ubezpieczenia Społecznego (KRUS) radzi sobie z aktualnymi wyzwaniami ekonomicznymi, zdrowotnymi i socjalnymi. Celem opracowania przegląd ocena rozwiązań istniejących systemie ubezpieczenia rolników pod kątem łagodzenia rolnictwie. A sector that is particularly susceptible to various risks agriculture.
